Afternoon light streaming into Lewis & Clark State Building
Hired by the building suppler to photography the Lewis and Clark State Office Building located in Jefferson City, MO.
This 120,000 SF new green office building for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The goal of this project was to create an example of affordable, cost effective “green” architecture. Reduction in energy consumption and corresponding savings in operating costs are integral parts of this building, featuring use of day lighting technology, advanced electrical lighting systems, efficient building envelope design, and highly integrated HVAC systems. This project earned a LEED-NC v2 Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, making it one of only 18 facilities in the nation (at the time) to earn this highest tier of recognition for energy and environmental design excellence under LEED New Construction.
