Lush garden courtyard of PCL Construction Headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
When PCL Centennial Learning Centre decided to celebrate its 100th anniversary by building a training and development center, it set two primary goals; the building needed to be aesthetically impressive and LEED® certified.
The center's design consists of glazed elements, creating a feeling of openness and breeziness. The desired performance was obtained using a triple-glazed 7500 Wall™ Curtain Wall System featuring an IsoWeb™ glass-reinforced nylon thermal break and 360 Insulclad™ Thermal Entrances.
In the end, the facility – designed to receive LEED® Silver certification - was awarded LEED® Gold!
